Who we are. Everest Learning is run by Maanas Avula, a sole trader in London. We are the data controller for the details you give us. The Mission Automation Ltd (company number 17162128) runs our marketing and the system behind this page on our instructions, as our processor.
What we collect when you enquire. Your first name, email address, phone number, your child's year group, the subjects you need help with, and what you tell us about the problem. We do not ask for your child's name or anything about their needs on this form; Maanas asks what he needs on the call.
Why. To call you back, match a tutor and arrange a trial lesson. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract.
How long. If you do not go ahead, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your details for the length of the relationship and six years after for accounting.
Who sees it. Maanas, and the TMA team who run the system. Our suppliers: Cloudflare (hosting and the form, UK and EU), Google (our mailbox), Telegram (alerts to the team, first name and year group only), Anthropic (software that helps draft replies; it never receives your name, email or phone). Nothing leaves the UK without the protections the law requires.
Public posts. If you asked for a tutor in a public forum and we replied there, we kept the link to the thread and our reply for up to 90 days so we don't reply twice, and nothing else about you. If you'd rather we didn't, email us and we'll delete it the same day and never contact you again.
Marketing. We don't send marketing emails or messages unless you ask us to, and every one has an unsubscribe.
Cookies. None. This page uses anonymous, cookieless analytics that cannot identify you.
The assistant. The small chat box on this page is automated. It answers from a fixed set of answers, keeps nothing after you close it, and never asks for personal details.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to our use of it. Email everestlearning.work@gmail.com. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Children. This page is for parents. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or carer to get in touch for you.
